Drop Off & Pick Up

Vehicle access
Vehicles will be able to enter the Dog Drop Off Zone  via Gate 10, Australia Avenue between the hours of  6.30am and 9.00am morning.

To ensure the security measures are upheld, all  Exhibitors will be required to have Exhibitor Drop Off/Pick Up docket placed on their dashboard to enter their vehicle into the drop off zone.

If you're using Google Maps, getting to the Drop Off zone maybe easy, search or enter " Howie Complex, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127 ". Google maps will show you the directions.


Important : During the Easter Show, the entrance at Australia Avenue and a number of other avenues will be closed. Australia Avenue will 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 via the entrance off Marjorie Jackson Parkway. (Map below) please plan ahead. 

Please have your ticket ready for inspection at  both the vehicle Gate 10 .  There will be no less than two Sydney Royal  attendants to provide instructions and advice in  relation to dropping off equipment and dogs. To reduce congestion, it is important that the driver follows all instructions provided by Sydney Royal attendants at the time. Do not block the footpath at any time.  Vehicles are not to be left unattended for more than 15 minutes.

It is strongly recommended that vehicles contain two occupants - one occupant to accompany the dog(s) and equipment into the relevant Pavilion; the other occupant to be responsible for the vehicle and its removal from Sydney Showgrounds after drop off.

Departure process 
It is a condition of competition entry that all  Exhibitors and dogs remain in the Pavilions until 5:00pm. Unless otherwise advised on the day, departure will occur via Gate 10. Please note that the same guidelines apply as during the Arrival Process. Vehicles will not be permitted to stay more than 15 minutes in the Drop off zone.

Dog movement
Exhibits are prohibited from walking around the Showgrounds and dogs must remain in the Dogs Precinct at all times.

Please ensure that you bring the following items  with you:
• Suitable collar and lead to ensure that dogs are secured to the benches
• Folding chair(s) if required
• Grooming and preparation equipment & Tools for your comp dog(s)
• Trolley and/or crate if required
• Lunch


Arrival process
This year you must show your entry ticket to  access the Gate 10 Dog Drop Off Zone, as well as the pedestrian entry gate. 

Entry Passes

Entry passes will be sent electronically and follow by to Exhibitors as follows :

1 and 2 dogs or more               2 Passes

Model Dog only                        1 Pass

General Admission passes will be available to purchase at all entrance gates if required. To avoid delays and help with congestion it is recommended that any extra tickets that may be required are to be purchased prior to Show.
